Woodhill Hall Wedding - October 6th 2022 - Richard & Rebecca

'I would walk five hundred miles..'

Richard and Rebecca love like there's no-one else in the room, they are each others person, that's for sure.

I arrived at the stunning Woodhill Hall in the Northumberland countryside just as the sun was rising. The morning was cloudy and a little wet but the forecast predicted sunshine for the rest of the day.

I arrived into bridal prep where Bex was getting ready with her Mum, sisters and friends. Little Louie, was good as gold all morning taking everything in and he was never short of snuggles from his big cousins.

I nipped across the courtyard to where Richard was getting ready with his best man. Then back to the ladies to get into the dress.

Rebecca's Dad came in for a father of the bride first look and he burst into tears. After a hug and a couple of photos we headed outside into the autumn sunshine as the bride & groom planned to do their own first look. Richard turned around on the count of three and was blown away by his bride. Now it was time to get married.

We headed into The Chapel which had floor to ceiling windows a wall full of angel wings, it was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony was lovely and after the signing of the schedule, we headed straight outside for a confetti shot, then into family portraits and then we snuck off with the new Mr & Mrs for their own photos.

Back to the venue it was time for the wedding breakfast. Little did Richard know but Bex had planned a secret singing waiter so when Kurt (@silverservicesingers) came crashing into the room, cutlery flung everywhere, Bex's Dad shot up ordering for an ambulance to be called but before it could, Kurt made a quick recovery and belted out 30 mins of bangers. He had the whole room on their feet from start to finish.

Before we lost the day light I headed outside with all the single ladies for a bouquet toss. Always a fantastic set of photos from this! It was evening and time to head into the teepee for the party. Cake cutting, first dance, shots in the hidden bar, a game of Mr & Mrs and some sparklers outside - this was an awesome way to end a brilliant day.

Congratulations to The New Mr & Mrs Wragg.
