Finally, weddings are back! And what a way to kick off the season than with the beautiful wedding of Sam & Hazels at Eleven Didsbury Park & Didsbury House Hotel.
After postponing their wedding from 2020 to 2021, the time had finally come for Hazel & Sam to tie the knot.
I arrived in Didsbury on the morning of Sunday 4th July 2021 to pouring down rain, but this absolutely did not dampen the bride & grooms spirits, and its said to be good luck if it rains on your wedding day, so we were winning, especially as it was only “cosy rain”.
The morning was super relaxed and chilled as I hung with Hazel for bridal prep. Lots of giggles between bride & maid of honour. They snacked on yumyum's and fizz and the vibe was perfect.
A 2.30pm ceremony at Didsbury House Hotel was as expected, lovely. To see and capture friends & family gather in the room together after the past 18 months was something special.
Then a short walk down to Eleven Didsbury Park where we spent the rest of the day. Food, drinks, laughs and HUGS - so. many. hugs. Guests were served unlimited ice cream throughout the afternoon provided by @glamoureventshire.
Speeches were phenomenal but I expected nothing less from a room full of professional comedians!
Overall, a fantastic day which I had the honour and pleasure of photographing. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Gore - it was SO worth the wait.
